This christmas was the first with my nephew, Brett Gibson (sound familiar?) around, he's now 8 months old! Being a thoughful uncle, I didn't think soft toys or noisy widgets would suffice. After all we all know the best htings in life are free, and kids always like the wrapping paper more than the present. Something to do witht he scrunchyness and clour.
So I had a brainwave - MAKE THE WRAPPING PAPER THE PRESENT!!
Required:
1 x Book of colourful A4 paper (blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink)
1 x Box, bigger than recipient
7 x Different kinds of wrapping paper (coz taking off the wrapping should be fun too)
1 x Shredder.
Result:
1 x Happy Nephew.
* Note, make sure the paper is either edible, or that mum/dad are there to stop recipient from eating it (NB. This is not the responsibility of the uncle)
Much fun.
Also - here's Brett enjoying a singing santa. (apologies for sidewaysness)
